Does Ninja use a mechanical keyboard? I use the Corsair K70, I'm not even sponsored by them, it's just a great keyboard. The rapid fire keyboard, and I love it.
So I use good products, man. And that's one. Does Ninja use a capture card? I do use a capture card! I use an Elgato Capture Card, an internal one. External ones can be tricky, usually there's latancy and stuff like that when you're streaming with an external capture card. I don't really think anyone's nailed that yet. Does Ninja, I think that says work out? Does Ninja work out? If you can't tell, I'm sorry. Ooh, I like this one.
How long has Ninja. How long has Ninja been streaming? I have been streaming for about eight years. I'm 27, I think I was 19, 20 when I started streaming. That's a good Google search. How long has Ninja been playing Fortnite? I've been playing since October of last year. So about a year and like 13 months. How long has Ninja been married? About I can give you the exact date. Definitely more than a year, it's like a year and like four months right now.
I got married August 12th. Best day ever, by the way. How long has Ninja been on Youtube? So, I've been on Youtube for about five years, six years. One of my original accounts I actually deleted it, on accident. I only had like, I think, , subs. Didn't care about getting it back, because I just made a new one. So I've been on there for about five years. I've been uploading consistently for about a year and a half.
How long has Ninja been on Twitch? I have been on Twitch since literally day one. I was on their platform before they merged and actually created Twitch. It was known as Justin. I was Justin. What Ninja? What does Ninja make in a year? What did Ninja, I'm assuming this is major in in college. I see it, yeah. I literally was just getting my gen eds. I messed up my first year I went away to college. So I actually ended up blowing all the money that my grandparents had saved up for me, which was like 20, dollars, my first tuition.
And I was only going gen eds, which I could have done that my second year. I went to a local college. That's where I finished my gen eds. And it was way cheaper, because I never did anything crazy, I never got college credits in high school, or anything like that.
So yeah, I didn't major in anything. I was just going, getting my classes done, getting my gen eds to go up to the next level of stuff. What does Ninja eat on stream? That's a good question. What don't I eat on stream with Ubereats, man? We live in a good area, my wife and I, so we actually have a little bit of everything. We have Thai, Mexican, Asian, American cuisine, it's pretty much literally anything and everything I eat, so.
And what is Ninja's win rate? It's really good. I mean, I don't even know it. But I know that I have almost 4, wins.
So, I think actually have the most wins in Fortnite. I love these man, this is so fun. How did Ninja meet Drake? This is probably one of my favorite stories to tell.
My wife and I, one day, we found out from my Twitch stream, my chat, they were just like, Hey man, Drake just followed you, Drake just followed you on Instagram.
I didn't believe them. We all thought it was a lie. I searched Drake on Instagram. Nothing came up. His name was champagne papi, I had no idea.
Looked it up, he was following me, I followed him back. And that was pretty much it, and that was how it all started. How did Ninja make so much money? I mean, just Twitch blew up with Fortnite and gaming, and I was there at the front of it.
I made the decision to start streaming before a lot of other big streamers did, and my personality and skill of the game just kind of took off, viewers watched it. Simple man. Ad revenue. Stuff like that. How does Ninja make his thumbnails? Super simple. So I start by, no. I don't make my thumbnails. We usually have artists who create thumbnails and things like that. So we tell them what the game is pretty much gonna be about, the highlights, things like that that are gonna stick out, cause your thumbnail is supposed to paint a story for whatever happens in the game, that's how you get the best clicks on your videos and things like that.
And we don't like clickbaiting with our thumbnails, we like to be truthful, so. It's done pretty well so far, 20 million subscribers in a year, woo!
Oh, this is a long one, don't ruin this. How many subscribers does Ninja have on Twitch? It's ever fluctuating. The other day, I was at 60,, and I haven't streamed in like the last couple of days, so it dips down. Yeah, it's really unfortunate. When I'm not streaming, I'm losing subscribers.
That's literally what happens with everyone on Twitch. It sucks. How does Ninja spend his money? Rinse and repeat. I'm just barely above being a bot, and I rarely get in a squad that outlasts me and is more than six years old.
This is an interesting question, but I definitely know that there are a lot of younger kids that do squad fill. Hilbily, my advice to you would be to do some squad fills and try to find people who aren't six years old and whenever you do get those teammates in your game, try to you know, connect with them, add them, and start running games with them, and then eventually you're gonna build up a squad of people that you can game with, and not do squad fills with.
That's what I did back in the day in Halo 2 when I was, I mean this is like 10, 12, 13 years ago, maybe more, 15 years ago. I needed to play a team of Hardcore of matchmaking with other people so I would just go in, and once I found someone who I kinda connected with, I'd be like, Yo, man, You're good, you wanna run?
And then boom, there you go. Try it out. MrAppieGaming says, what is your main skin in Fortnite? There's a female Ninja skin in the game that's pretty dope. I think that I use her the most. Dude, I literally just asked this question. I was doing squad fills the other day. I don't know, I don't know what that means. It's like, it's just a globe. I think it might mean that someone maybe from another server is playing on a server that they shouldn't be playing on so they just have a globe icon?
I don't know what that means. It's not mobile. It kinda looks like a controller. It might be the new PS4? Your guess is as good as mine, man, but it's definitely not PC and I don't think it's Xbox. We have a question from MrCsCelebQs. Said Ninja, how did you get so good at playing Fortnite?
From Jayden, age nine. That's a really good question. I've been playing video games my entire life. I'm 28 years old and you learn a lot about different gaming play styles as you play different games, and honestly, I've just put the time in my entire life to be good at video games.
The more you play, the better you're going to get and when you do play, actually try to improve your game. There are two ways you can play video games: you can play casually or you can play competitively, and if you're just playing casually and you're messing around and you're landing in the same spots and you're farming the same way and you use the same guns all the time and you never change anything and you never actually try to improve, you're not going to improve, right?
So you need to honestly actively work on, you know, your shooting, your building and your knowledge of the map and rotating and things like that. So, yeah. Put the time in, practice hard and actively try to improve. Krawley4 asks, Hello mate. Can you tell me how to improve my aim in Fortnite, please? Question mark, crying face. For me, with any sensitivity or any aiming issues, what you wanna do is you wanna start at a lower sensitivity, right? If you really can't just hit, you can't hit [beeps] just lower your sensitivity and you won't be able to miss, literally.
It'd be so slow that you should be hitting everything that you're aiming at. When you're eliminated because your aim is too slow, you bump it up just a little bit. Then once you've moved it up a little bit, take a little bit of getting used to, but then once you get eliminated again because your aim is too slow, you bump it up a little bit and then eventually you're gonna keep doing this, you're gonna keep going back and forth until you find the perfect medium.
You finally got a good sensitivity where now your aim is pretty solid and you're no longer getting eliminated because your sensitivity is too slow.
It's a lot easier to go from down up than to go from an incredibly high sensitivity and work your way down so try it out, let me know.
ModdedPotato asks, What's your favorite Fortnite loadout? If you play, if you don't, that's fine, Here's mine. For me, my favorite loadout has gotta be the Flapjackie, the Flapjackie back bling in the black and white with the Chrono Contrail and also the same glider that you have, the Pixel Glider. It's definitely one of my favorites. Good job, good taste. Mechanics or game sense? Good question. They're both important.
You need to focus on them both. I think your game sense will let you live and last longer in your lobbies. However, mechanics are going to be how you win those games. You cannot win a game solely off of game sense or you will win less games, so focus on both. Play Team Rumble? Oh wait, is there skill-based matchmaking in Team Rumble too, FortniteGame? Little Luiso, I feel your pain here, man, and Team Rumble is definitely going to be the chillest playlist, but also I mean if you're playing with your friends and you're just chilling, shouldn't you be able to play squads?
Like, I mean, how good are you, I guess? But I understand what you're saying, man. I don't agree with the skill-based matchmaking. It does make the lobbies a lot sweatier. Skill-based matchmaking right now is basically adding longer queues, you're playing against tougher players if you're a good player and it's basically turning into Arena without siphon mode and that's kind of what Arena is for, is for those competitive and sweaty matches.
Only time will tell, man. FireMonkey says, What strats do you use in Fortnite? For me, I hide under stairs and in bushes like the true bot that I am. That's the beautiful thing about Fortnite, man, is you can play however you want.
