In fact. What happened to that whole stupid inscription professesion anyway? Just another version of enchanting. Made about as much sense as warriors duel wielding two handed swords. Nothing but a visual. Enchanting vellum would reduce the value of most enchants by an extraordinary amount. Perhaps for a small group of enchanters that like to hang out in a major city spamming trade chat. They play the game and occasionally make them for themselves or for friends. Originally made by inscription scribes later they were sold by vendors.
Maybe 2 expansion later…. Would love it, made enchanting a lot more profiable and less bare bones and everquesty when you could trade and sell scrolls on the AH. Classic TBC. Don't buy these from the AH.
