There is also building work going on, we were warned of this before we arrived but not before we booked. Wasn't a huge issue and tbh didn't hear much during our stay. Very quiet site other than this. Lodge was clean and couldn't fault the welcome from Karen who greeted us on arrival and also checked the hot tub during our stay. Looked like the on site restaurant had closed down but we ate at the Hobbs Boat about 10mins from the lodge one night and would recommend.

Lodge was close by to go out and explore - we visited Weston-super-Mare, cheddar gorge, Bath and a few other places all within a good easy distance. I would recommend and would stay again if in the area.
