Comment by The fact that you cannot enter the other factions area is a huge bonus to members of the Aldor because they can walk into Nagrand through the back door. Marks are typically 1G per mark on my server.
Marks are more economical for purchase unless you are lucky enough to see the Fel Armaments 10G I was seeing 10 Marks of Sargeras and 1 Fel Armament every 30 mins on average. If you are a skinner, you get to do that too. I spent extra gold gained from sale of drops in that Area on purchasing Marks and Armaments to quicken my way to Exalted.

Comment by Don't forget about the rep you get through questing. You can get a total of rep through quests alone!

Comment by nevervate Last week i managed to complete the faction switch quest turnin's to go from Scryer Exalted to Aldor. I'm currently revered Aldor and working on finishing things up. Just to confirm, any Shoulders that are already enchanted can still be worn if you swap factions, recipes that you have already learned are maintained, and any unused enchants are useless. Switching sides allows you to get some items that are unique to the factions quest rewards , as well as giving you quests to do a second time around for a decent amount of gold.

Do not complete Khadgar's quest, Alegiance to the Aldor, get first Neutral with pre-quest or when you switch faction you'll find hard way that you are Neutral and not Friendly. Not that this would be a deciding factor in which side you choose, but reagent heavy classes might want to work on their Lower City rep as well to get the discounts. Comment by After the patch 2. Unfortunately, the benefits for players who have chosen Aldor aren't as good as for Scryers side killing mobs for quests on Isle of Quel'Danas and in Netherstorm will give you a lot of Sunfury Signets.
I'm currently leveling a druid and she'll probably switch between the two. Comment by Shadowmoon Valley is a very good place for Aldor Reputation farming if you need it. Click for map ; Legion Hold is circled, this is a great place to kill demons for Marks of the Sargeras and the occasional Fel Armament. A decently geared level seventy should be able to kill several demons without the need to take a break.
